Built on Precision. Rooted in the Islands.
STX & Stones is a BIM modeling studio based in St. Croix, USVI — delivering full-spectrum Building Information Modeling services to architects, engineers, contractors, and owners across the Caribbean and beyond.
Caribbean expertise. Global BIM standards.
STX & Stones was founded in St. Croix with a clear mission: bring the same level of BIM precision that major mainland firms deliver to projects in the USVI, Puerto Rico, and the wider Caribbean — where the construction environment demands more coordination, not less.
Island construction comes with unique challenges — compressed supply chains, hurricane-resilient structural requirements, remote logistics, and tight project teams. We built our practice around those realities, developing workflows that produce clash-free, fabrication-ready models that work in the field, not just on screen.
From LOD 100 concept massing to LOD 500 as-built documentation, we work across every discipline — architectural, structural, framing, MEP, and coordination — as a single integrated team or as a specialist extension of your existing project team.
Precision first
Every model we deliver is built to be used — coordinated, dimensionally accurate, and ready for the next phase of the project.
Discipline depth
We don't generalize. Each discipline has a dedicated modeler who knows the standards, the software, and the field implications of every decision.
Island-aware
We understand Caribbean construction — hurricane loads, local code requirements, supply chain constraints, and the realities of building in a remote island environment.
Responsive delivery
We respond to RFPs within 48 hours and structure every engagement around clear milestones, regular deliveries, and open communication.
Our toolkit.
We work in the industry-standard BIM authoring and coordination platforms — the same tools your design and construction team uses.
Primary authoring platform for architectural, structural, framing, and MEP models across all LOD levels.
Federated model aggregation, clash detection (hard, soft, clearance), and BCF issue management.
2D drawing production, DWG coordination, and legacy drawing import for existing-conditions modeling.
Cloud-hosted model coordination, document management, and issue tracking via Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Light-gauge steel framing design and CNC output for panel fabrication workflows.
IFC export and import for open BIM workflows, owner deliverables, and non-Autodesk team coordination.
What sets us apart.
Every inquiry gets a detailed scope and timeline within two business days.
From early massing through fabrication-ready as-built documentation.
Architectural, structural, framing, MEP, coordination, and clash detection — one team.
Local knowledge of Caribbean construction codes, logistics, and project conditions.
Let's work together.
Send us your project brief and we'll come back with a clear scope, timeline, and fee within 48 hours.
